December 31st Are You Ready To Come Up & Out?

Exodus 3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

As we come out of the year 2020 and look to what God has in store for us, we should have hope and gratitude. The year has been like no other but we shouldn’t forget the blessings God supplied. We may have seen affliction but God also sustained us and grew us in challenging times.

As as I look at this verse I see what God always promises: I want to bring you up out. Often we don’t want to go to the place where he wants us. Often we are unprepared for the trip. Often we feel so inadequate for the work ahead. Often we are even fearful, but with our Gracious God we are always on holy ground and can trust what the future holds.

He wants to bring us “up”! That’s God’s direction- UP! Feeling down? He wants to lift us up. He wants to bring us ”out”! He will never leave us in affliction one second longer than what it takes to accomplish His purpose in our life.

He wants to bring to a place of greater blessing. He promises a good land. A place He’s prepared for us. A land flowing with milk and honey awaits us Christian. That’s worth a shout! I’m an UP and COMER because of God’s great promises! I’m ready to go. How about you?
