December 9th Jesus Understands

Hebrews 4:14-16

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

We all have test, temptations, and trials in life. Today’s passage tells us some great truths about being a Christian. We are going to have stress and struggles. Jesus knows. Although he is our great high priest sitting at the right hand of the Father he sees and he understands exactly what we are going thru. Isn’t it great to know the King Of Kings can be touched by our feelings and by our weaknesses. He experienced the same things we experience when he was here. So Jesus understands.

But not only does he know and understand, but he offers the greatest invitation a Christian can have. He invites us to come to the place where we can not only find understanding but also get Divine help. He invites us into the throne room to get mercy, grace and help in our time of need. You see, this all knowing God has allowed our struggle for a reason, so we can benefit in some way. He is growing us into His image! Anything that drives us to our loving God is a good thing Christian.

Whatever you are Enduring right now Jesus knows!!
