January 13th Guided By God
II Samuel 22:33 God is my strength and power, and He maketh my way perfect.
We are on a journey. We are pilgrims sojourning here for just a little while. As we travel this life on our way to the next, there are many crossroads and turns we will meet. How will we know which path to take? The wrong path made lead to rough going. Some roads lead to nowhere. Some choices may bring bad consequences.
We can be glad we have a loving guide on this trip. God loves us so much He doesn’t want to go to alone. He travels along with us. He maketh our way perfect. When we get weary and weak He restores our strength and power if we will stop and rest with Him for a little while.
We can enjoy the trip with His roadmap in hand and His presence inside. Often when we make a trip we might think we’re lost. We often need to stop and ask for directions. The same is true on the the trip of life. Instead Of making another wrong turn because we think we know the best way, we need to stop and ask Him for direction. He promises to show us the way. “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way thou shall go: I will guide thee with mine eye” Psalm 32:8. When we invite God to travel with us, He will never take his eye off our steps.
Guided by God, He will make our way perfect. Happy Traveling!
