What We Believe

The Inspiration of the Bible:

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the complete revelation from God and is verbally inspired. We believe the King James to be the authorized Bible and is God's preserved Word.

The person of God:

We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection. We believe in the Trinity.

The person of Jesus Christ:

We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His deity and sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in His personal, pre-tribulation, and premillennial return.

The Person of the Holy Spirit:

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and that His purpose is to convict sinners and offer salvation through the person of Jesus Christ. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him. He is the Great Comforter.

The Fall of Man:

We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Hence, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgement.

The Salvation of Sinners:

We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and Faith in His finished work. We believe salvation produces a new creature.

The Security of the Believer:

We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and as a result we have blessed assurance.

The Doctrine of Heaven and Hell:

We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.

We Believe in the Great Commission:

As given by our Lord which is to preach the Gospel to the whole world and to seek the salvation of lost souls through the great commandment; Love Others as Yourself.

We Believe in Supporting Others in the Great Commission:

We Fund four missionaries at this time. Here is our friend Aries in the Philippines who won over 200 souls to Jesus in 2020.

Pastor Pat is called of God to serve and share God's Word. Pastor Pat's personal Faith Statement is as follows:

The Holy Bible:

I believe the King James Bible is the inerrant word of God, inspired and preserved for English-speaking people. I believe it is God breathed and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)

Salvation:

I believe in salvation by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8) in the blood atonement Jesus made at the cross. I believe salvation is by the precious blood of Christ plus nothing. (John 14:6)

I believe in the eternal security of the believer.( John 10:28-29) I believe the blood, once applied, can never be removed and none can snatch us from the father's hand. I believe in the "whosoever will: gospel and do not hold with Calvinist doctrine. (Romans 10:13)

God:

I believe in the trinity of God: God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for sinners and sealed the believer with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

God is the strong and faithful covenant keeper. He is the self existent, ever present revealer of Himself. (LORD)

Blessings and Growth:

I believe in the sanctification of the believer accomplished through the word of God, the will of God, and by the power of God.

I believe in the priesthood of the believer. (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:5-6)

I believe Christians prosper in the Christian life through personal prayer, personal Bible Study and personal soul winning.

The Church:

I believe the church exists to exalt the Savior, edify the body, evangelize the lost and express God's love. We should fulfill the great commission. (Matthew 28:19)

I believe the church has 5 basic functions:

Worship = Exalt the Savior

Discipleship = Edify and build up His body

Fellowship = Encourage each other

Servantship = Extend help to those in need

Outreach = Evangelize the lost

The Future:

I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture and pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth.

I believe in a literal hell, where unbelievers will spend eternity paying for their sins. I believe in the lake of fire which is worse than hell. I believe in a white throne judgment and the lambs book of life.

I believe in an eternal heaven which our minds cannot imagine, where we the saved will dwell with God forever.

Relationships:

I believe the institution of marriage to be Holy, God given, and between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24-25). I believe any other relationship is an abomination to God.

I believe in prayer and blessing for God's people "the Jews" and believe in standing with them as a nation and as friends. (Genesis 12:3)

I believe in a life of separation for the believer. The believer should be sanctified to God and from sin. Furthermore all believers should be seeking that good acceptable and perfect will of God for their lives. (Romans 12:1-2)
