Which do you want to hear first? the good news or the bad news? Well lets start with the bad news. Life isn't perfect nor is it easy, we sometimes experience hurt, loneliness and rejection. Sometimes it's our fault sometimes it's not, but the truth is we live in a fallen world. There is an evil being, satan, who has a lot of temporary influence and control over this world, and because of his influence we are born as sinners. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that all of us, every one of us has sinned, just by our nature, and we have fallen short of the Glory of God. It gets worse! Romans 6:23 says "...the wages of sin is death...". Ok, how about some good news!

GOOD NEWS! God loves you so much that he sent his son Jesus as the ultimate, one time, sacrifice so you could be saved. You can be rescued from the fate satan has planned for you!

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." What this means is that even though we did nothing to deserve it, God loves us so much that he allowed his son to freely and by his own choosing, die for us. Yes, even me, even you, his love for us is beyond our comprehension.

John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." This means just what is says, Jesus is the only way to forgiveness and salvation. There are a lot of false gods in this world, a lot of false teachers teaching there is another way, but the only path to salvation is through Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Jesus the Son of God, left his home in heaven, came to earth and died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins. But God raised him from the dead, in doing so he defeated death and satan. He paved a path for us to follow to rescue us from sin and give us eternal life in heaven. If you believe this, and confess it, and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and be the Master of your life, you too can experience the spiritual healing of forgiveness and eternal life.

How to receive this gift?

Recognize the fact you are a sinner. We all are, some of us are forgiven sinners and some have not been forgiven!

Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross!

Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and turn away from your sinful life style!

Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sin.
I repent of it and turn to you by faith. I thank you for
dying on the cross for me and paying the price for all
of my sins. I ask you to come into my life right now
and be the Lord of my life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit,
help me to be your disciple from this moment forward.
In Jesus name I pray, thank you Lord. Amen.
